Concrete Base Installation for Snack Bar at Norton Knatchbull School

TM Contract Services was appointed to create a new concrete foundation to accommodate a future snack bar at Norton Knatchbull School. The works included site clearance, ground preparation, and the installation of insulated ducting to enable future electrical connections.

Background

Norton Knatchbull School required a solid and functional foundation for a new snack bar facility within its grounds. The location was previously bordered by a hedge, which needed to be removed before construction could begin. The client also required integrated ducting to allow for future power supply.

Works Included

Removal of existing hedge and clearance of working area
Ground marking and preparation for foundation
Excavation to formation level, with appropriate muck-away
Installation of insulated sunken ducting for electrical supply
Supply and pour of concrete base to required specification
Finish suitable to support the structure of a snack bar
